HOW WE WORK

CREATING BEAUTIFUL
LIVING GARDENS

We work with a variety of briefs using texture colour and light to create considered living environments allowing the garden to complement its surroundings.

Whether maintaining the garden or creating a new outdoor space the process follows the same level of passion and creativity.

Initial Consultation

It is important to begin with an initial consultation in order to gain an insight of the gardens requirements and how the space will be used and by whom!! Absorbing ideas and preferences for the space will initiate the conceptual process. A brief can be created of the detailed process for approval along with design, planting scheme and planting fees.

Conceptual

Conceptual ideas are discussed through computer aided design, sketches and schematic plans. The overall scheme, concepts are discussed in order to determine feedback and the final plan.

Detailing the Design

At this stage drawings can be produced to enable a transparent shared vision of the design outline. Technical drawings and specifications will enable landscape contractors to quantify installations costs.

Schematic Planting Plan and Planting

Within the design the schematic planting plan is a creation of preference, ideas, tastes and aesethetic relationships with structures surrounding the garden. The plan allows Acre Horticulture to provide a costing for this aspect of the installation. We enjoy creating garden spaces as much as we love to be immersed planting within the designs.

Project Management

We work closely with contractors who carry out the structural and hard surfacing of the garden that complements our planting, aftercare and maintenance work. We work together with clients in order to source a wide range of hand selected products, furniture, sculptural and bespoke pieces.
